A female driver trapped following a two car road traffic collision in Stratford-Upon-Avon, was flown to hospital by Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
WNAA crew helped the Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service free the woman from the car on Wednesday 19 October at around 8am.
The 41-year-old was suffering from back pain and had possible pelvic injuries.
After assessment she was fully immobilised and given pain relief before being airlifted to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
The incident caused long traffic delays to the morning rush hour with tailbacks still reported after 9:30am, at the same time, overnight roadworks with temporary traffic lights near the Wildmoor caused further delays for drivers.
Two other patients from the incident were treated at the scene by the West Midlands Ambulance Service and discharged.
