THREE people on their way to a wake following the funeral of a 19-year-old Stratford man killed in a car crash near Wellesbourne were taken to hospital on Monday after suffering a serious road collision in the same village.

Two people were trapped in a Rover 416 saloon for more than an hour after a collision in Kineton Road at 3pm with a silver Renault Megane which had three children in it.

Horrifyingly, the collision which severely injured two of Chris Green’s mourning friends, was within three miles of where Mr Green had his fatal crash on the A429 earlier this month.
